CASSOPOLIS, Mich. (July 30, 2014) – The Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints return to action with a double header weekend at Dixie (MI) Motor Speedway on Friday, August 1 and Illiana (IN) Motor Speedway on Saturday, August 2.
Drivers that have scored feature victories in 2014 include Jimmy McCune (Angola), Helberg (Kalamazoo, Dixie and M-40), Ryan Litt (Toledo), Troy DeCaire (M-40) and Jerry Caryer (New Paris).
Helberg will be chasing his third consecutive feature victory at Dixie with earning victories in June and initially in July of 2013 at the .40-mile oval. Tim Cox is the most recent Winged Sprint Car winner at Illiana. He took the checkered flag last August under the Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series banner.
Jason Blonde continues to sit atop the series standings on the strength of seven top-five finishes and nine top 10s. Second in the points rundown is 2010 champion Kevin Feeney, who has produced eight top 10s. The remainder of the top five includes Davey Hamilton Jr., Jo Jo Helberg and Tom Geren.
On Friday at Dixie, the Main Event Racing Series and School Bus Figure 8’s will fill out the exciting racing program. Spectator Gates open at 5 pm. with racing starting at 7:30. Tickets for Adults are $25, Seniors $22, Teens (13-17) – $18, Children $8 and Five and Under Free.
On Saturday at Illiana, Late Models, Legends, Pure Stocks, Turbo Stox and Bandoleros will join the Winged Sprint Cars. Spectator Gates open at 4 pm. with racing starting at 7. Tickets for Adults are $15, Kids (8-12) – $5 and Seven and Under – Free
