The USAC Western Classic Sprint Cars focus on their next event – October 4 at Petaluma (Calif.) Speedway – after point leader Ryan Bernal’s latest series win last Saturday at Marysville, Calif.

Bernal, of Hollister, Calif., won Saturday night’s 30-lap race at Marysville Raceway Park. He passed Adam Brenton on lap 19 and led the final 12 laps to beat Max Adams, Scott Hall, Mark Tabor Jr. and Brenton.

Brenton led 15 laps and Austin Liggett three before Bernal took over.

The victory was Bernal’s fourth in seven Classic outings so far this season.
