ROCHESTER, NY, (September 27, 2014)- With an early end to the racing portion of the Patriot Sprint Tour season in 2014, the annual awards banquet commencement will also take place earlier in the year.
On October 18, 2014, the Patriot Sprint Tour will honor Champion Jared Zimbardi and all of the mainstays of the PST America and Canada Series. For the second consecutive year, the banquet will occur at Barnard Exempts Party House at 360 Maiden Lane in Rochester, NY. After a Christmas-themed banquet in 2013, the foliage of Upstate NY will be on grand display this year.
Last season, Jared Zimbardi was honored for his second career PST America championship, but this year will be twice as nice for the Bradford, PA driver as he not only was the repeat America champion, but also dominated the PST Canada series. Because “The Juice” snagged both titles, he secured the $5,000 bonus, which means his payday next month will be a minimum of $15,000 cash.
In addition to Zimbardi’s big night, over 20 drivers will be recognized for their commitment to the 12th season of Patriot Sprint Tour competition. As always, the awards banquet will still hold plenty of suspense with special awards to be announced for the Rookie of the Year, the Outstanding Newcomer of the Year, the prestigious Patriot of the Year and a host of other special declarations.
The banquet would not be complete without the great buffet dinner at 7:00 P.M. preceded by the cocktail hour at 6:00 P.M. where once again everyone will get a round on the champion.
