Waynesfield Raceway Park moves to Friday night for the final event of the 2014 racing season. Sprint car drivers from all over the mid-west will converge on the State of Ohio for a weekend of nothing but the best sprint car racing in the country. Friday’s stop at WRP is no exception. The wingless Buckeye Machine 410 sprint cars and the winged K&L Ready Mix 360 sprint cars headline the annual Harvest of Sprints event with $2000 awaiting the winner. The Performance Powder Coating AMSA Mini Sprints also join the night of sprint car racing with $700 awaiting the winner in victory lane. To sweeten the deal for drivers doing the triple duty, a $2000 bonus is up for grabs for any driver who can take the checkered flag in all three A-mains. Many of the big name drivers from the Bob Reynolds event back in July are rumored to be in attendance for the season ending event. Pit area opens at 4PM on Friday afternoon. Grandstands open at 5PM. Hot laps get underway at 6PM with racing action following at 7PM. Adult general admission to a night of nothing but the best sprint car racing is just $15. Children ages 11-15 are just $12 with anyone under the age of 10 FREE. Pit admittance is $30.
