Nittany Media To Present Penn State Football Tailgate At Port Royal Speedway World Of Outlaws October 25

Port Royal Nittany Media of Lewistown will present The Nittany Media Tailgate at Port Royal Speedway coming up as part of the STP World of Outlaws racing program at the historic oval on October 25.

The same day as the world renown traveling outlaws circuit makes its return to Port Royal Speedway for the first time in a decade, the Penn State Nittany Lions football team will play Ohio State at home with an evening kickoff slated and now fans can come to the big race and not miss the big game action either!

Beginning at 3 pm on October 25 Nittany Media will present a pair of 8 x 8 projection screens in the speedway commercial building for a tailgate party prior to the beginning of the races slated for 5 pm.

And the Nittany Media Tailgate will continue all night, throughout the big race and beyond until the finale of the football match up.

Fans are invited to come early and stay for the game, all on behalf of Nittany Media, based in Lewistown, Pa.

The World of Outlaws VS. Pennsylvania Posse sprint car match up at Port Royal speedway will find the best in the sprint car business going head to head for the $10,000 top prize in the 30-lap affair.

Gates open at 3 pm with racing action at 5 pm.

Ticket sales are underway for the upcoming invasion by the STP World of Outlaws and with contingency plans put in place to protect from a loss of the program due to inclement weather, fans can purchase tickets with confidence.

Reserve seating admission tickets, available in rows 7 – 19 of the aluminum grandstand, are set at $35 with adult general “day of” prices set at $30.


General admission prices for students ages 12 – 18 for the outlaws show will be just $20.  Ages 0 – 11 will be admitted for free to general admission areas.


Rows 1 – 6 of the aluminum grandstand will be open to general admission ticket holders.


A reserved seat/ticket, in rows 7 – 19 if desired, for ages 0 – 11 and for students will be the aforementioned $35.
