Perris, CA — (October 22, 2014) — Young open wheel star Christopher Bell is among the latest entries for the 410 portion of the 19th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals Presented by All Coast Construction on November 7th and 8th. As of October 21st, the entry list stands at a very strong 52 cars.
To date, Bell, a native of Norman, Oklahoma who resides in Columbus, Indiana, has 20 wins, 46 top five’s and 59 top 10’s in 89 starts in 2014. The versatile 19-year-old driver has won in Midgets, 360 Wing Sprint Cars, 410 Wing Sprint Cars, 410 Non Wing Sprint Cars and pavement Late Models. His latest victory came last Saturday night in the pavement Late Model race at Orange County Speedway in Durham, North Carolina.
For the Oval Nationals, Bell, who currently sits second in the Honda USAC National Midget standings, will be in the same Dennis & Teresa Roth owned #51t that he drove to victory in the USAC/CRA main event at Calistoga in early September.
The Oval Nationals entry list currently features 8 of the top 10 drivers in USAC National Sprint Car Series points and 11 of the top 15. It also contains all 10 of the top 10 in the USAC/CRA Series and 17 of the top 20.
In addition to the 410’s, the USAC West Coast Sprints Cars and the USAC Southwest Series Sprint Cars will lock horns in a special 360 show on November 6th. The California Lightning Sprint Cars will decide their season championship on November 7th and the PAS Senior Sprint Cars will do likewise on the 7th and 8th.
