Albany, AU — (February 6, 2015) — Defending World Series Sprintcars champion, Steve Lines has claimed two rounds back to back with a flag to flag win from pole for the Albany based Halls Haulage team at Albany’s Attwell Park Speedway.

Ryan Farrell started from second and finished second, trying to find something to reel in Lines through lapped traffic that was encountered in a staggering four laps after the start. Kyle Hirst was the big mover in the Race Safety Equipment Shootout, promoting himself from seventh to third on the A-Main grid and finishing the feature race in the same spot. The series points show Dave Murcott still leading the championship after finishing seventh, while Brooke Tatnell finished ninth to be only 50 points behind while Kyle Hirst third place finish improves his tally to third in the points, only 100 points behind the leader. The series points chase has tightened once again as the cavalcade head north to the Perth Motorplex for round ten on Saturday, with two-time series winner, James McFadden only 150 points behind after his fourth place finish tonight.
