In a sudden turn of events, the United Rebel Sprint Series will return to action in the state of Colorado when they compete this Friday night, June 19th, for the very first race and season opener at Colorado’s newest dirt track facility, Colorado Motorsports Park in Byers Co. In addition to this Friday nights racing, three and possibly four additional dates have been added to the URSS schedule at CMP.

 

“We are extremely happy to bring the URSS back to our Colorado fans and provide more of the great racing they have become accustomed to with this series. CMP is a first class facility, they have worked hard to give Colorado a new and first class facility and we are more than excited to be a part of their schedule” said URSS founder Rick Salem.

 

Colorado has always had a rich tradition of Sprint Car racing and it continues today. 2013 and 2014 URSS National Champion Jake Bubak comes from a racing steeped deep in Colorado’s history. Add to the mix a great crop of new racers like Luke Lucero, Zac Taylor, Coby Pearce, Mike Taylor, Kevin Schramek along with veterans Mark Wallinder, Scott Cochran, Mile Hathaway and Bob Schaffer along with the travelling drivers from Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma will insure fans edge of your seat excitement.

 

Race dates will include this Friday’s race along with dates on July 3rd, August 14th and September 18th with additional dates possible.
