FVP National Sprint League Returns to Huset’s Speedway Sunday!

Windom, MN (July 22, 2015) – The FVP National Sprint League returns to the Huset’s Speedway near Brandon, South Dakota this Sunday night, July 26! In the series first visit, Danny Lasoski made himself eligible for the Deberg Concrete $25,000 Triple Crown Challenge! With a Huset’s win of his own, Terry McCarl could put himself in line for a bonus that requires series wins at Knoxville Raceway, Huset’s Speedway and the Jackson Nationals finale on September 5 at the Jackson Speedway in Minnesota.

 

Lasoski comes into this week’s action with six straight podium finishes and enjoys a comfortable margin on top of the FVP National Sprint League standings. McCarl is the all-time leading feature winner at Huset’s, and also has eight track titles to his credit. Each have $5,000 wins at the 3/8-mile oval this season, McCarl’s having come in weekly action.

 

Other NSL members with wins at Huset’s this season expected to compete include Brandon’s own Dusty Zomer, who leads the track’s point standings, five-time Huset’s champion, Mark Dobmeier and two-time “King of California” Tim Kaeding. Two-time Knoxville track champ, Brian Brown and defending Knoxville Raceway titlist Ian Madsen are also expected, as are two-time USAC sprint and midget champion Bryan Clauson, seven-time IRA champion and Britt, Iowa NSL winner Bill Balog, nine-time Australian World Series Sprintcars champion, Brooke Tatnell, Lynton Jeffrey, Austin McCarl, Matt Juhl, Dakota Hendrickson, Tasker Phillips, Chris Martin, Ryan Bickett, Dylan Peterson, Joe Riedel and more!

 

Sunday will end a busy week for the FVP National Sprint League. It began Tuesday at the Hancock County Speedway in Britt, Iowa in a feature won by Balog. The NSL moves on to the Iowa State Fair Speedway in Des Moines tonight and visits the Jackson Speedway and the Jackson County Fair in Minnesota Thursday night, July 23.

 

DeBerg Concrete $25,000 Triple Crown Challenge

 

To be eligible for a $25,000 bonus from DeBerg Concrete, drivers must win at least one of the four FVP National Sprint League events scheduled for the Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa. Another FVP National Sprint League race must be won at the Huset’s Speedway. The third and final venue for the DeBerg Concrete Triple Crown Challenge will be the Jackson Nationals finale at the Jackson Speedway in Jackson, Minnesota on Saturday, September 5. Two drivers could be eligible for the bonus heading into the event at Jackson Speedway.
