Windom, MN (August 20, 2015) – The FVP National Sprint League and Huset’s Speedway south of Brandon, South Dakota have come to an agreement to run this Sunday night, August 23! Both parties felt that with the amount of rainouts this season in the Upper Midwest both at the track and with the NSL series, including their joint event in May, that this would be the perfect fit for an additional show for the fans!

The event will act as a qualifier for the $25,000 Deberg Concrete Triple Crown Challenge and opens the possibility up of the bonus again to all drivers. To qualify, drivers must win an NSL event at both Huset’s and the Knoxville Raceway, as well as the Jackson Nationals finale at the Jackson Speedway in Minnesota on Saturday, September 6.

NSL point leader, Danny Lasoski, is already eligible for the bonus. With a win at Huset’s Sunday, eight-time track champ, Terry McCarl, would also be eligible. Five-time track champion, Mark Dobmeier, would be eligible if he can win at Knoxville Raceway on August 29. Any driver winning both this Sunday and at Knoxville on August 29 would also be eligible for the $25,000!

Come join us Sunday as the stars of the FVP National Sprint League attack the 3/8-mile oval!

Tickets and Times

Tickets are just $25 for adults, $5 for juniors 8-14, and 7 and under are FREE! Street Stocks and Hobby Stocks are also on the card! Race time is 7 p.m.!

Pit passes from the rained out event on August 2 at Huset’s Speedway are good.  Rain checks for the grandstands can be used with the addition of $10 to cover the difference.  Both arm bands and rain checks can also be used the following week.

Huset’s Speedway Deluxe Season Passes will be honored.  Elite season passes and radio season passes will not be good for this premium event. One day passes will not work for this event – those may be used August 30.

This will be for NSL and Huset’s points.

DeBerg Concrete $25,000 Triple Crown Challenge

To be eligible for a $25,000 bonus from DeBerg Concrete, drivers must win at least one of the four FVP National Sprint League events scheduled for the Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa. Another FVP National Sprint League race must be won at the Huset’s Speedway. The third and final venue for the DeBerg Concrete Triple Crown Challenge will be the Jackson Nationals finale at the Jackson Speedway in Jackson, Minnesota on Saturday, September 5.
