– Taking part in Placerville Speedway’s Big Trophy Night, Sean Becker earned another win aboard the Dan Monhoff owned No. 35 machine.

“We had a great car, and it feels really good to get another win for Dan Monhoff and his team,” Sean Becker said. “It was not easy as Logan Seavey drove a great race, but in the end we were able to beat him to the checkered flag.”

Timing the Monhoff No. 35 machine in second fastest during qualifying time-trials, ‘The Shark’ would pick up the win during his heat race, and earn a spot in the nightly redraw.

Pulling the six-pill, Becker would grid the field from the third row for the 25-lap A Main event. Battling with Greg DeCaires in the early goings of the feature event, Becker would secure the second spot as he began his pursuit of the race leader, Logan Seavey.

Patiently stalking the race leader, Becker would use the top-shelf on the 15th lap to drive around Seavey and take command of the race lead. Out in front, Becker would never relinquish the Top-Spot as he picked up the Donnie Tilford Memorial, giving his wins in all notable Placerville Speedway 360ci events.

“Anytime you win a memorial race it is really special,” Becker said. “It honors someone who did so much for a track or a community so it was an honor to win this race and be down in victory lane with the Tilford family. Again, I can’t thank Dan Monhoff enough for the opportunity.”

Becker would like to thank Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Cherry Street Mini Storage, Menne Ranch Hay Inc., Astro Titanium, Ponybracket.com, Hunt’s Race World, Molecule, Shaver Racing Engines, FK Rod Ends, and K&N for their support in 2015.
