Dupo, IL (September 13, 2015) Keeping their record perfect, Justin Henderson and BDS Motorsports continue to dominate the Upper Midwest Sprintcar Series now that the Knoxville Raceway season is over. With its primary obligation to Knoxville done for the season, the BDS Motorsports team has been able to hit the road in recent weeks, and pick up multiple victories as it goes. Friday night, the team headed to St. Croix, Wisconsin for the 55-lap, $5,500 to win Earl Kouba Memorial race. On Saturday, the team ventured to Cedar Lake, Wisconsin for the night number two of the weekend with the UMSS. Both nights saw great racing with Justin and the BDS team picking up two more wins, their third and fourth consecutive UMSS wins.
On Friday night, the team headed to St. Croix Valley Raceway for the 23rd Annual Earl Kouba Memorial. In heat race action, Justin started sixth and was up to second in less than a lap. Unable to pass the leader, Justin finished second in his heat race. During the re-draw, Justin drew number one and started on the pole of the 55-lap A-main event. Jumping out to the early lead, Justin led every lap on his way to picking up his third straight UMSS win. This event, unlike most others, featured a pit stop at the halfway point. Even after the stop, no one could pass the BDS #1, and Justin cruised to his seventh 360 win of the season.
On Saturday night, the team once again raced with the UMSS in Wisconsin, this time at Cedar Lake Speedway. In heat race action, Justin started fourth, and this time was able to pick up another heat race win. Based on the re-draw, Justin again started on the pole of the 25-lap A-main event. Once again in typical Henderson/BDS form, Justin and his Al Parker powered, Eagle Chassis jumped out to the lead and was able to bring home another UMSS feature win. This marked his fourth consecutive UMSS feature win and his eighth 360 win of the 2015 season.
Justin and the BDS Motorsports team still have a few races left in their 2015 season plans. Up next for the team will be next weekend at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska for two nights with the ASCS National series.
