From FAST Series PR:
Fremont, OH — (April 3, 2016) — With the 2016 season opener just around the corner, FAST Series officials would like to take the time to acknowledge all of those who make the upcoming year possible. The new expanded schedule, which moves FAST Series competitors out of the traditional Attica/Fremont circle into new areas of surrounding states, was made possible by a large number of dedicated partners. Included among the long list of loyal FAST Series supporters are Kistler Racing Products and JLH General Contractors; title sponsors for the FAST 410 Series and FAST 305 Series. Their continued support allowed each series to grow into one of the most competitive open wheel schedules in the region.
“We have a lot of dedicated people on board with us in 2016 and we are more than thankful for their support and hard work,” Rich Farmer explained, FAST Series promoter. “Their help has allowed this series to grow even bigger in 2016, and that is obviously shown through our expanded race schedule. Our goal has always been to promote competitive open wheel racing that is affordable for the teams and tracks. We are thrilled to keep that tradition alive, as well as expand the tradition to new heights.”
The Kistler Racing Products FAST 410 Series presented by K S Sales & Service will activate their 2016 schedule at Attica Raceway Park on Friday evening, April 8; opening night of the HD Supply Spring Nationals. The FAST 410 Series opener will award a $5,000 top prize; the first of two $5,000-to-win FAST 410 Series programs at the Attica, Oh., short track in 2016.
“We have a lot of high profile events on the schedule this season, so that is really exciting for the drivers and fans,” said Rich Farmer. “The FAST 410 sprints will not only be a part of the HD Supply Spring Nationals at Attica, but they will also join the program during Fremont Speedway’s Memorial Day weekend special, Attica Raceway Park’s Attica Ambush and Fremont Speedway’s Jim Ford Classic weekend.”
The Kistler Racing Products FAST 410 Series presented by K S Sales & Service opener on Friday night, April 8, will be the first of 20 events on the 2016 schedule. Drivers and teams will visit four different venues during their travels, including Attica Raceway Park, Fremont Speedway, Butler “Battlegrounds” Speedway near Quincy, Michigan, and the Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio. The 2016 champion, who will be crowned during the Jim Ford Classic at Fremont Speedway, will receive a $10,000 top prize.
The JLH General Contractors FAST 305 Series presented by Engine Pro will ignite action for the first time in 2016 on Friday evening, April 22, at Attica Raceway Park. A total of 14 events highlight the 2016 schedule, with action set to take shape at six different facilities in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan. FAST 305 Series competitors will visit Attica Raceway Park, Fremont Speedway, Butler “Battlegrounds” Speedway, Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Oh., Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Oh., and Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The 2016 championship is worth $2,500.

“We encourage all teams to sign-up as soon as they can,” said Rich Farmer. “This is going to be an exciting year for everyone involved. It takes a lot of help from all angles to get a series like this up and running properly. I appreciate the help and dedication from all of our supporters, sponsors, tracks and officials. I’m already looking forward to crowning the 2016 champions and handing out some big checks.”
