DODGE CITY, Kan. (May 2, 2016) – That $10,000 Steve King Memorial winner’s share on July 1-2 already has race teams and fans alike circling the date on the calendar.

And that $10,000 carrot just two months out makes this Saturday’s action at Dodge City Raceway Park that much more appealing for the winged Sprint Cars of the NCRA/Gomuddy.com NSL 360 series.

Saturday’s card that fires off at 7:30 p.m. will mark the only opportunity for the 360-ci Sprint Car ranks to get laps atop the 3/8-mile DCRP clay oval.

Along with the NCRA/NSL Sprint Car ranks, Saturday’s action will also include championship chase action for the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Hobby Stocks.

Wichita’s Jeremy Campbell enters Saturday’s card as the defending winner of the May NCRA event at DCRP, beating C.J. Johnson and Zach Blurton to the stripe.  Tony Bruce, Jr., also topped NCRA at DCRP last year with a win in last year’s Steve King Memorial.

Saturday’s NCRA/Gomuddy.com NSL tilt offers up a $2,000 winner’s share.

Arkansas shoe Derek Hagar swept through both nights of the season-opening NCRA/Gomuddy.com NSL 360 event at Wichita’s 81 Speedway in March with Lincoln, Nebraska’s Don Droud, Jr., topping the most recent series event at 81 Speedway on April 16.

In the four championship chase divisions in action on Saturday, Woodward’s Jeff Kaup ranks as the only repeat winner thus far through the opening pair of events.

Gunning for a fourth consecutive IMCA Sport Modified track championship, Kaup is two-for-two thus far to open up a 32 point advantage over Kevin Tabor.

Along with Kaup, other drivers looking to build upon early point leads on Saturday include Nick Link in IMCA Modifieds, Tyler Tipton in IMCA Stock Cars and Cody Davis in IMCA Hobby Stocks.

The IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Hobby Stocks have both offered up three winners in as many events thus far with two winners in as many IMCA Stock Car features.

William Nusser captured his first career feature win to take the most recent IMCA Modified feature after Cody Gearhart and Cole Traugott topped the initial pair of events while Shannon Anderson, Cody Davis and Reagan Sellard have enjoyed IMCA Hobby Stock honors.

After Tyler Tipton topped the IMCA Stock Car season opener, reigning track champion Michael Pepper bounced back to win the April 23 main event.

Tickets to Saturday’s NCRA/Gomuddy.com NSL Sprint Car special at Dodge City Raceway Park are just $20 for adults with children eleven and under admitted free when accompanied by an adult.  Pit passes are $30.
