Rossburg, OH – (May 6, 2016) – Dave Blaney was involved in a grinding crash Friday night during the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series event at Eldora Speedway. Blaney got over the cushion, slamming the wall, and violently flipping down the track between turns one and two.
Eldora Speedway safety crew helped extricate Blaney who was transferred to a local hospital. Later on in the night Motter Motorsports officials confirmed on Twitter that Blaney’s CT scans were clear with no breaks or fractures, but was admitted overnight for observation at an undisclosed hospital. Later on Motter Motorsports released that Blaney had been discharged from the hospital, but still very sore from the vicious accident.
