Off-Track List of Activities in Belleville This Week

BELLEVILLE, Kan. (August 2, 2016) — Numerous off-track activities surround this week’s 39th annual Belleville Midget Nationals on Aug. 5-6 at the Belleville High Banks. Listed below are some of the more popular traditional events:

Thurs-Sunday Aug. 4-7: Belleville High Banks HoF & National Midget Museum open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Thursday Aug. 4: Induction ceremony for the Belleville High Banks Hall of Fame.
Lunch begins at noon with ceremony to follow at the Republic County High School 2405 P Street, Belleville.

Thursday Aug. 4: A memorial tribute for Gerry Miller, Tim Richardson and Jack Petty at the Belleville High Banks HoF & National Midget Museum, approx. 30 mins following the induction ceremony.

Thursday Aug. 4: 7 p.m. Pre-race party for competitors and fans at After Five Bar & Grill located at 1826 M Street, Belleville.

Thursday Aug. 4: 8 p.m. Belleville High Banks infield Tim Dugger Concert. Admission is $10 per person, under 14-years old free. Free BBQ meal will be provided while supplies last.

Friday Aug. 5: 1:30 p.m. Annual Pinewood Derby event at the 4H building on the fairgrounds.

Friday Aug. 5: 4 p.m. Dedication ceremony of the new addition at the Belleville High Banks HoF & National Midget Museum.

Friday Aug 5: Preliminary night for the 39th Belleville Midget Nationals and cruisers.
Ticket window opens at 3pm, Gates open at 5pm, hot laps 6:30, racing at 7:30pm.

​Saturday Aug. 6: 8 a.m. Don Harding Memorial Golf Outing, at Belleville Country Club. Contact course for further information, (765) 527-2745 located at 2208 Country Club Drive, Belleville.

Saturday Aug. 6: 11:30 a.m. Auction to benefit the Belleville High Banks HoF & National Midget Museum at the Entertainment Center on the fairgrounds. Item viewing at begins at 11:00.

Saturday, Aug. 6: Championship night for the 39th Belleville Midget Nationals.
Ticket window opens at 3pm, Gates open at 5pm, hot laps 6:30, racing at 7:30pm.

General Admission tickets for all race track events are sold first-come first-served on race day at the ticket gate. Reserved seating tickets are available for the event. General admission available only if the event is not sold out, and available only on the day of the race at the track ticket office. Special children ticket pricing is being offered this year.
