SPRING RUN, Penn. (August 26, 2016) — The 410 Sprint Cars and 600cc Micro Sprints invade the ¼-mile Path Valley Speedway this coming Sunday, August 28 for the second round of Fred Rahmer Promotions Party at the Path spectaculars.
The region’s top Sprint Car drivers have made their intentions known to claim the victory and ‘Take Fred Rahmer’s Money.” Confirmed drivers include: Greg Hodnett – the most recent Party at the Path winner; Brent Marks, who finished third at the Speedweek event; popular sprint car driver, Danny Dietrich aboard the GKR No. 48 machine; Aaron Ott, who timed second quick during PA Speedweek; and Lucas Wolfe piloting the Zemco Tool & Die No. 1 machine.
Hoseheads.com joins the FRP team offering a $500 Underdog bonus to the highest finishing under-financed race team. Competitors must register to compete for the bonus at the Path Valley pit office on Sunday, August 28. FRP team members will determine and indicate eligibility.
The 410 Sprint Cars will compete in Time Trials, Qualifying Heat Races, and a 40-lap feature event.
“When Allan from Hoseheads approached me about this bonus I thought it was a great opportunity to reward some of the teams that deserve more,” Rahmer stated. “Hopefully we can highlight a team that is underfinanced — but overqualified to run with up front.”
A highlight of the 410 Sprint Car season at Party at the Path events is the opportunity for a randomly selected competitor to win a four-night trip to Las Vegas, with airfare and hotel accommodations for two people. To be entered into the drawing, a driver must compete in all three of Fred Rahmer Promotions events at Path Valley Speedway.
Also on the card is the 600cc Winged Micro Sprints competing for a $1,000 payday. In late June, Kameron Morral broke Tyler Walton’s three-race win streak. Can Walton rebound in the 25-lap main event? The 600cc Micro Sprints will compete in a complete program of qualifying heat races and a 25-lap feature event.

600 Micro Sprint competitor Perfect Attendance bonuses include random drawings for an XXX Micro Sprint Racing Chassis, a $500 Hyper Racing Gift Certificate, and a test session in one of Fred Rahmer’s RBR Racing 410 Sprint Cars. An additional test session will be awarded to the competitor that wins the season-long Micro Sprint Point Standings.
With the season opener canceled for weather related conditions, August 28 marks the second Fred Rahmer Promotions event of 2016. The staff, as well as, Path Valley Speedway track management are currently working to secure the best possible date for the guaranteed three-race season.
General Admission Tickets for Sunday, August 28 at Spring Run, PA’s Path Valley Speedway are $20 and children under 12 are admitted FREE! Pit Admission is $30.
Pit Gates open at 3:00 PM, Grandstand Gates open at 4:00 PM with Hot Laps at 6:30 PM and Time Trials at 7:00 PM
