YORK HAVEN, Penn. (November 3, 2016) — The stage is set for this Saturday’s Sprint Showdown at Susquehanna Speedway.
With a promising forecast of 60 degrees and sun for York Haven, PA, the Wintermyer’s Auto Salvage Sprint Showdown presented by Rock-It Pizza will officially close the curtain, not only on a successful racing season at Susquehanna but also for the 2016 season in Central Pennsylvania.
The Sprint Showdown will be the final event of the 2016 BAPS Coatings & Supplies 410 Sprint Series. Four BAPS 410 Sprint Series events have been spun off this season with recent Williams Grove National Open winner Danny Dietrich scoring two feature wins with Greg Hodnett and Lance Dewease each picking up one win.
The 410 Sprints will compete in a 30-lap $5,000 to win feature with $400 to take the green. Time trials will set the starting lineups for the 410 Sprints.
The 358 Sprints will also be on the Sprint Showdown, going in a 25-lap event paying $1,000 to win and $150 to start.
Pit gates will open at 11:30AM with Grandstands opening at Noon. Time trials are set to go green at 2PM with racing at 2:30PM.
Ticket pricing for the Sprint Showdown is as follows: $20 Adults; $15 Students and Seniors; Kids 12 and under are Free. Pit Admission will be $30.
A Sunday, November 6th raindate will be used if needed.
