CASSOPOLIS, Mich. (December 9, 2016) – The 2017 schedule for the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints presented by Royal Purple Synthetic Oil has been released. Currently the schedule includes 12 events in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio for the 22nd season of winged sprint car racing.

The Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints will kick off the season at Kalamazoo (Mich.) Speedway on Friday, June 2 and then travel to South Bend (Ind.) Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 3. The opening month of action also includes Auto City (Mich.) Speedway on June 10, with a doubleheader weekend at Toledo (Ohio) Speedway and Berlin (Mich.) Raceway scheduled for June 16-17.

July’s slate begins with three consecutive races in the Hoosier State with Baer Field Speedway on July 1, New Paris Speedway on July 8 and South Bend on July 15. A return trip to Kalamazoo will take place on July 20 followed by Toledo on July 21 and Auto City on July 22.

The final two events of the 2017 campaign will occur in August with Baer Field set for August 5 and Auto City on August 26.

Currently three events are designated as To Be Announced.

The Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints concluded their 21st season of racing in 2016. Aaron Pierce captured his second consecutive championship while the tour showcased five winners in seven races.

In the 316 events contested on pavement, Gary Fedewa sits atop the career victory list with 37 checkered flags. Six-time series champion Jason Blonde ranks in second spot at 31 wins with Tom Fedewa (25), Bill Tyler (24) and Jeff Bloom (19) rounding out the top five. Fifty-five drivers have earned at least one feature victory.
