SARVER, PA (September 14, 2024) — Tyler Courtney picked up the $50,000 payday for winning the Commonwealth Clash Saturday night at Lernerville Speeway with the Kubota High Limit Sprint Car Series.
Corey Day led the first 17 circuits of the event until a mechanical failure sent him flipping off the track in turn two. Day was able to exit the car under his own power.
This handed the lead to Brent Marks, which was short lived as Courtney was able to drive to the lead three laps later, leading the remaining 20 circuits for the victory. Sye Lynch scored his second runner up finish this weekend with the High Limit series at his home track while 11th starting James McFadden, 17th starting Tanner Thorson, and Spencer Bayston rounded out the top five.
