Daggett Wins I-96 Thriller, Secures 2011 ASCS SOD Championship

Dustin Daggett won a spectacular Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by ARP feature event Saturday night at I-96 Speedway. Daggett battled former ASCS SOD champion Brett Mann swapping the lead back and forth before Daggett pulled away for the victory. The win also allowed Daggett to clinch the 2011 ASCS SOD Point Championship.

XTREME SPRINT SERIES TITLE TO BE DECIDED AT BRISTOL

The winner of the TruFuel “Xtreme Speed Classic” at Bristol Motor Speedway on Oct. 1 will claim bragging rights as the fastest winged pavement sprint car driver in the world. While that is indeed meaningful, a more tangible accomplishment will also be determined on that fast Saturday: the 2011 Xtreme Sprint Series championship.

Friday night Daryn Pittman won the feature event at Williams Grove Speedway. Saturday the Jim Nace Memorial National Open at Selinsgrove was split into two segments with Daryn Pittman taking the first feature and Pat Cannon winning the 2nd and the National Open title.
