Brady Bacon Sweeps USAC Knoxville Non-wing Nationals!

With another great crowd on hand, Brady Bacon was without peer at the third running of the USAC Knoxville Non-wing Nationals on Sunday night at the Knoxville Raceway. Bacon posted quick-time, won his heat and the feature. It was the Broken Arrow, Oklahoma driver’s first win at a track in which he has played the bridesmaid on a few occasions. It came aboard a XXX Chassis with Wesmar power and was worth $5,000. Chad Huston was also a first-time winner, as he picked up the companion 305 sprint car main event win.

Late Pass Lifts Martin to URSS Bullring Victory

Jason Martin knew where the faster line was. Only problem was the sprint car driver wasn’t going to be able to use it to get to the front. Instead, he continued to use the high line and wait for an advantage that would put him in the lead. It came with two laps remaining, and it helped the Liberal driver claim a United Rebel Sprint Series win Saturday night at the Bullring Nationals at Rush County Speedway in La Crosse, KS.

The black supermodifieds of Stephen Gioia and Brian Sobus paced the 26-car field coming down to Donnie Forbes green flag, with Sobus jumping out to the early lead. The inside line was the choice of Joey Payne and Joe Gosek, while Graham and Sitterly went to the outer reached of the speedway to move forward early.
