Placerville Civil War Race marks opening of 2010 season for Geving

After mother nature washed away her hopes of a strong run in the Chico Mini Gold Cup last weekend, Penngrove’s Alissa Geving is gearing up to start the 2010 racing season this Saturday night. The two-time Petaluma Speedway champion will take her first green flag of the year in the Civil War Sprint Car Series which opens at Placerville Speedway in El Dorado County, California.
