Wells Fargo Donates $25,000 Towards Bryan Clauson Suite Tower Project

Wells Fargo has donated $25,000 towards the Bryan Clauson Suite Tower construction at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in Knoxville, Iowa. Half of the $3.4 million-dollar project had been funded by generous donors prior to the 57th Annual 5-hour ENERGY Knoxville Nationals.

Museum Auction 2:30 PM Today at the Kings Royal

National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum special events coordinator Mike Noftsger is headed to the World of Outlaws-sanctioned Kings Royal championship this weekend at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, for the annual museum-benefit auction. Mike, fresh off his trip to Skagit Speedway for the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup and the activities there, will coordinate the live auction in Eldora’s Multi-Purpose Building on Saturday, July 15, at 2:30 p.m.

Schatz Named North American 410 Poll Driver of the Year

For the ninth time in his career, Donny Schatz of Fargo, North Dakota, was voted the “Driver of the Year” by the North American 410 Sprint Car Poll voting panel of media members, promoters, sanctioning officials and manufacturers. The 2016 World of Outlaws (WoO) champion earned seventeen (17) of the twenty (20) first-place ballots cast in the year-end poll. The other first-place vote-getters were Daryn Pittman, Jason Johnson and the late Bryan Clauson.

Hafertepe Named North American 360 Sprint Car Poll “Driver Of The Year”

Sam Hafertepe, Jr., of Sunnyvale, Texas, was voted the 2016 “Driver of the Year” by the North American 360 Sprint Car Poll voting panel of media members, promoters, sanctioning officials and manufacturers for the first time. Hafffertepe, the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) national tour champion, earned ten (10) of the first-place ballots cast in the year-end poll. Sam Hafertepe, Jr., and Keith Dobbs earned the “Team of the Year” award, too
