Big Win for Borden at Skagit Speedway

The fourth edition of Thursday Night Thunder at Skagit Speedway saw a fourth different winner in the Budweiser 360 Sprints as Devon Borden made a big move late race to score the win. Also on the all open wheel card, Jesse Schlotfeldt made huge last lap pass for the win in the Cook Road Shell Sportsman Sprint feature and Evan Margeson wired the field for the win in the NW Focus Midgets.

Runner-Up No More: Heath Wins on Thursday Night Thunder

Two weeks of finishing second by the narrowest of margins was enough for Colton Heath. On the third episode of Thursday Night Thunder at Skagit Speedway, Heath piloted the Law Motorsports #33 to victory lane for the first time in the Budweiser 360 Sprints.

Lemley Scores Thursday Night Thunder Week 2 Win by .048

After last week’s margin of victory (.061 between Eric Fisher and Colton Heath) in the 360 sprint cars, many thought that a repeat or better performance would be near impossible…except for Brock Lemley. Essentially saying “hold my Budweiser” to last week’s dynamite finish, Lemley took the win on week two of Thursday Night Thunder on SkagitSpeedway.TV, beating Colton Heath in a slobberknocker of a main event by .048 seconds.

Fisher Wins by .061 in Skagit Speedway Season Opener

The 66th season of racing at Skagit Speedway kicked off with the first Thursday Night Thunder pay per view event in track history. The fans watching at home were treated to an amazing race, watching Eric Fisher, Colton Heath and Cam Smith duke it out over the final ten laps before Fisher claimed the opening night victory by a margin of .061 seconds. Craig Moore and James Bundy were the Modified and Outlaw Tuner division winners respectively.

Logan Schuchart Sweeps Skagit Speedway Doubleheader

A small fire lit underneath Logan Schuchart’s car.

There were three laps go. Schuchart the leader – looking to win back to back World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series races at Skagit Speedway Saturday night. He had led all 37 laps, fending off constant attacks by Brad Sweet.
