It has been a long time coming for Jason Solwold to stand in Victory Lane at the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup presented by Jack in the Box, and in 2015 the Burlington, Wash. driver added his name to the history books as the winner of the 44th annual event, leading all 40 laps against the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network to claim the night’s $15,000 bounty.

The King of the Wing / Auto Value Super Sprint event scheduled for Saturday at Winchester Speedway was canceled due to track officials were unable to pump water out of the corners of the high banked 1/2-mile oval. Both series are slated to race at Anderson Speedway on Sunday.

Danny Lasoski wins Mid-Season Championship at Knoxville!

Danny Lasoski registered win number three of the season at the Knoxville Raceway and #105 in his career on Saturday night. The victory was also his third FVP National Sprint League win of 2015. The victory allowed him to stay on top of the point standings at both Knoxville and with the NSL, and it was worth $5,000 aboard the Big Game Motorsports #2.

Litt wins King of Wings feature at Toledo

London, Ontario Canada driver Ryan Litt sailed to victory in the Hemelgarn Racing/Super Fitness King of the Wing event presented by Lakeshore Utility Trailer Sales Friday night at Toledo Speedway. With rain in the area most of the day and the front approaching, the decision was made to run features only after speaking to the race teams. Tim Burkett was the winner in the Top Speed Modified feature race, which was cut short by 5 laps due to the rain. Ron Hemelgarn presented the 5 foot trophies to the victors in the 7-Up Winner’s Circle.
