Heading into the Labor Day Weekend Doubleheader at Sharon and Eriez, Bubba Broderick said he would “Go 110%”, and try to sweep the weekend because he knew he was good enough. True to his word, he nearly pulled that off.

Austin McCarl – A Charge at the Richert!
The successes have continued the last two weeks for Austin McCarl. After finishing tenth in the final Knoxville Raceway 410 point standings, he ventured on to Huset’s Speedway for a solid sixth place finish. Last weekend, he competed at the Jerry Richert Memorial at the Cedar Lake Speedway near New Richmond, Wisconsin where he drove from 19th to 12th in the finale. This weekend, he’ll take on the World of Outlaws at the Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa before returning to South Dakota to compete on Sunday at Huset’s.

Carson McCarl – Sprint Car Debut!
Carson McCarl made his sprint car debut on Sunday, September 5, and it was an eye-opener. Before losing a driveshaft, the Altoona, Iowa 15 year old driver got to spin a few laps in a 305 sprinter. The DNF would put him tenth in the final order at the Bethany Fairgrounds in Bethany, Missouri. Tomorrow night, he’ll head to the 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa for his second outing in the TMAC Motorsports #97.

CARDEY GETS MAJOR RIDE FOR 43RD ANNUAL WESTERN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS!
USAC/CRA racing star David Cardey has picked up a major ride for the November 18th, 19th and 20th 43rd Annual Kronik Energy Drink Western World Championships at USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona. The Riverside, California resident will be behind the wheel of one of Jim Massey’s famous bright orange Sprint Cars for the prestigious event.

DON GANSEN SCORES FIRST VENTURA VICTORY
On another wild night at Jim Naylor’s Ventura Raceway, Rialto’s Don Gansen drove to his first career feature victory with the VRA Sprint Car Series. The popular win made Gansen the tenth different driver in seventeen races at “The Best Little Dirt Track In America.”

Wayne Johnson’s recovery from a serious foot/leg injury continues to progress. He is getting closer to putting weight on the leg, and is already undergoing physical therapy. His timetable to get back racing is getting closer as the weeks pass on.

Brian Brown – An Even Dozen!
Brian Brown drove his FVP #21 to victory for the twelfth time this season last Friday night at the Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg. The ASCS-Midwest weekend schedule also saw the series head to McCool Junction and Eagle in Nebraska, where the Grain Valley, Missouri driver finished second and fifth.
