Carson McCarl – Sprint Car Debut!

Carson McCarl made his sprint car debut on Sunday, September 5, and it was an eye-opener. Before losing a driveshaft, the Altoona, Iowa 15 year old driver got to spin a few laps in a 305 sprinter. The DNF would put him tenth in the final order at the Bethany Fairgrounds in Bethany, Missouri. Tomorrow night, he’ll head to the 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa for his second outing in the TMAC Motorsports #97.

CARDEY GETS MAJOR RIDE FOR 43RD ANNUAL WESTERN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS!

USAC/CRA racing star David Cardey has picked up a major ride for the November 18th, 19th and 20th 43rd Annual Kronik Energy Drink Western World Championships at USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona. The Riverside, California resident will be behind the wheel of one of Jim Massey’s famous bright orange Sprint Cars for the prestigious event.

Double the Fun for MSCS This Weekend

It is mid September and it is crunch time in the sprint car ranks. The Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series has just three races left. All will be in Southern Indiana. These 3 events will close out the season. The racing will determine which driver will wear the 2010 MSCS Points Crown and send a number of drivers to the bank with some of the biggest pay checks of the season. Two of those races are set for this weekend.

Canadian Nationals Off to a Soggy Start

Mother Nature didn’t appreciate “Fan Appreciation Night” at Ohsweken Speedway apparently. Heavy rain and forecasts for more have forced the cancellation of Thursday night’s events at Ohsweken Speedway. Thursday’s activities will not be rescheduled, while the rest of Canadian Sprint Car Nationals weekend will continue as planned.
