Austin McCarl – A Charge at the Richert!

The successes have continued the last two weeks for Austin McCarl. After finishing tenth in the final Knoxville Raceway 410 point standings, he ventured on to Huset’s Speedway for a solid sixth place finish. Last weekend, he competed at the Jerry Richert Memorial at the Cedar Lake Speedway near New Richmond, Wisconsin where he drove from 19th to 12th in the finale. This weekend, he’ll take on the World of Outlaws at the Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa before returning to South Dakota to compete on Sunday at Huset’s.

Austin McCarl – Looking Good With Plan B At the Nationals!

It was a great showing for seventeen year-old Austin McCarl at the 50th Anniversary of the Knoxville Nationals. A solid 11th place showing on his qualifying night put him in the B main, where he would come home seventh, just three spots away from the main event. He will use this week to regroup and prepare for the final two nights at the Knoxville Raceway, where he sits tenth in the point race.

The wait was over for seventeen year old Austin McCarl when he pulled into Victory Lane at the Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa last Saturday night. The win marked his first in a 410 sprint car. The Altoona, Iowa driver will try it again this weekend at the Knoxville Raceway.

Austin McCarl – Another Quick Time at Huset’s!

It was a tough weekend for Austin McCarl for more than one reason. Coming out late in qualifying with the Outlaws was not the right recipe on Thursday, and then Mother Nature decided Saturday wasn’t going to happen. Another quick time and top ten at Huset’s redeemed what was otherwise a disappointing weekend for the Altoona, Iowa driver.

Austin McCarl – Quick Time x2!

A pair of quick times, one at Knoxville Raceway in Iowa, and one at Huset’s Speedway in South Dakota, highlighted the weekend for young sprint car driver Austin McCarl. The seventeen year old competed three times over Memorial Day weekend, and notched another top ten finish. He looks forward to seeing how he stacks up against the best in the business as the World of Outlaws come to Knoxville for a three-night show this weekend.
