The World of Outlaws will be sharing the track with Bloomington Speedway’s ultra competitive O’Neal Wood Products UMP Modifieds. A big purse awaits the Modified racers as well with $800 going to the feature winner and $100 just to start the main event.

The elder Kinser has won six World of Outlaws races at Bloomington Speedway, which is his home track. The first of those wins came in the series’ inaugural 1978 campaign. His most recent win there came in 1998. Over his 30-plus-year career, the ‘King of the Outlaws’ has racked up 18 wins at the track.

Kraig won a former Great Lake Outlaw Sprint Series race in 2002 at Bloomington Speedway. Including Steve’s dad, Bob, three generation of Kinsers have won races at Bloomington. Kraig enters the 2011 season with nine career World of Outlaws main event wins.

Reigning World of Outlaws champion Jason Meyers has competed at Bloomington Speedway three times, scoring a best finish of sixth in 2006.
