Denver, CO. – The Rocky Mountain Midget Racing Association (RMMRA) will be celebrating their 71st anniversary in 2010 with an all dirt race schedule. The season will start on May 8 at I-76 Speedway in Ft. Morgan, CO. and will end on September 11 at the new dirt track, Colorado Motorsports Park “The Park”.
The tentative race schedule will consist of four race events at I-76 Speedway in Ft. Morgan, CO and six race events at the new Colorado Motorsports Park “The Park” east of Denver in Byers, CO. With possible dates on May 15, July 24, Aug 21 and on September 18 according to Greg Schaefer, the new president of the RMMRA.
Also on the schedule will be a non-points but a co-sanctioned race with the SMRA/USAC “Great Plains” Series on May 21 at Liberal Fairground in Liberal, Kansas and May 22 at Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas.
On Memorial weekend, the RMMRA will be at Colorado Motorsports Park “The Park” for a special two-day race event, May 29-30.
