FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Items autographed by such big names as A.J. Foyt, Tony Stewart and Bobby Rahal are among those available in this weekend’s silent auction at the 12th annual “Rumble in Fort Wayne.”
All money raised will go directly to the Kenny Irwin Jr. Memorial Foundation’s Dare to Dream Camp. The campground, located near New Castle, Ind., provides fishing, boating and karting for underprivileged youth from throughout the Midwest. Irwin’s parents, Kenny Sr. and Reva Irwin, operate the not-for-profit foundation in memory of the late NASCAR and USAC driver.
Bidding will begin Saturday and conclude Sunday at the “Rumble in Fort Wayne” indoor racing event at the Memorial Coliseum Expo Center.
Auction organizer Wendy Atkin provided this list of items received so far. Several Rumble Series owners and drivers – including Rick Daugherty, Sarah Fisher, Joe Liguori, Arin McIntosh and Billy Wease – and many photographers have pledged additional items.
