THE VENDORS

Champions Pavilion is Sold-Out!

Spaces Now Available in Hall A:
With special thanks to Tom Wieck, we have been able to move the Racers Auction into a new building this year!! Hall A, of the Southwest Pavilion, is right out the back door (S.E. Corner) of the Champions Pavilion, and across the street (right behind the Pepsi Coliseum)!!! No shuttle needed this year! Both buildings are now within VERY close walking distance!! Vendor spaces will now be available in the same building as the Racers Auction! Half of the building will house the Auction, and now the other half will be filling up with even more great Vendors!!!
If you thought you missed out on being in the show as Vendor… Do Not Wait, these last remaining booths will go fast!!!! We re-opened the online store so you can reserve online!

Also, as was the case the last year, we will have some limited outdoor spots available in front of the building, which you can reserve online through our website:
www.shoestringracing.com

THE AUCTION

Tom Weick says that this years Auction is filling up fast!! We’re already near 500 lots (which was the size of last years)!!! The Auction will start a little earlier this year, approx. 1:30, in order to accommodate more lots! BUT HURRY, they are going fast!!!
A reminder that we moved it to a larger, more Auction friendly, and MUCH CLOSER building! The Auction will be within a 100 ft. of the main show building (The Champions Pav.), and be held in Hall A of the South Pavilion! This will make transeferring between buildings much easier, and eliminate the need for a shuttle!

Also of note: The Auction is open to any and all who wish to consign, and for our vendors, there will be some “Last Ditch” consignment slots open for you as well!! Just in case you don’t want to take something back home !!! Check out our website for details, or better yet, go to: www.tomwieckauctions.com or call him up at:859-581-8579

THE FEUD

Last year’s debut of the Beast Race Cars “Circle Track Feud” went down to the final question! But! There was controversy, as the winning team was said to be “Loaded” (in more ways than one)! This year, we eliminate the team concept, and go to every man for himself! PLUS!!! Each Celebrity Panelist will be playing for more than just bragging rights, they’ll actually be playing for $500, which will then be donated to the charity of their choice!! The kings of historical knowledge on all things fast, will be returning!.. Indianapolis Motor Speedway Historian Donald Davidson and www.openwheeltimes.com Kevin Eckert will be tossing out the Questions & Points, in this battle for “mental” supremacy!! Also returning to help keep the train somewhat on the track, will be Jack Slash!!

As in years past, we will be utilizing some Legends of the sport, as well as some of today’s heroes! We have been fortunate to have some of the finest in the business, grace our stage over the the years, and this year will be no different as Steve Chassey, Dave Darland, George Gamester, Tracy Hines, Don Kenyon, Johnny Parsons Jr., Casey Shuman, and Steve “The Bopper” Stapp have all made commitments to The Feud! Now we are proud to add one more Celebrity/Legend to the show!!:

This year’s Feud is attempting to pit (no pun intended) the Legends vs. The Mechanics vs. Today’s Heroes, in a racing trivia Cage Match ! Our line-up was set, but then we received one of those dreaded “forgot about a previous engagement” call. Tom Bigelow will not be able to make the Feud. So with a little help from Donald Davidson, and a little encouragement from Robin Miller (yeah, I’m name dropping here, but they really did help!), we came up with another great Legend to join us!!!

Bill Vukovich Jr. has 12 Indy 500 starts with 6 top ten finishes, 3 of those being top 5!!! He is also a former BCRA Midget Champion winning 11 races that year, including an astonishing 7 in a row at San Jose Speedway!! With 23 more USAC Midget wins under his belt, he became a member of the Midget Racing Hall Of Fame! Now, Vuky II is set to take on his fellow racing competitors Steve Chassey and Johnny Parsons Jr., one more time!! In the pursuit of Racing Trivia Glory!!!

We really want to thank Bill for coming in on this short of notice!!

You won’t want to miss our second attempt at Game Show History!!! Check back for more announcements on who else will be on the show, soon!!!

The Indy Circle Track Expo’s, Beast Race Cars “Circle Track Feud” Presented by H.A.R.F will start at approx. 1:00pm.

More announcements will come as the day draws near!

It’s a Tradition: Indy now has a Swap Meet/Trade Show/Auction BIG enough for “The Racing Capital of the World”!!

Be sure you join us in the Champions Pavilion (and Hall A) for all the “wheelin’, dealin’, good times!!
Make your plans now to either vend or attend… You won’t disappointed!
