FREMONT/ATTICA, Ohio – Fremont Speedway and Attica Raceway Park have announced the two tracks will now allow sprint car teams to use the Goodyear 100 along with the Goodyear 200 in competition in 2010.

Both tracks had originally planned to only allow the 200 right rear tire, but after seeing the Goodyear 100 in action at Attica Raceway Park this past weekend, both tracks opted to allow the Goodyear 100 as well.

“We got to see the 100 in use under good racing conditions and it held up very well. We talked to a lot of teams and John (Bores, ARP promoter) and I feel this is a good option,” said Fremont Speedway Promoter Rich Farmer.

Racers in the 410 sprint division must use Goodyears on both the left and rear wheels in 2010. The 305 sprint teams may utilize Hoosier tires until May when they too must race on Goodyear tires.

Also, a reminder, to help the local racers, Goodyear will work with both tracks to donate a tire to the Hard Charger’s Award winner each week in both the 410 and 305 sprint car classes. The Hard Charger will have the choice of selecting a front or rear tire.
