(Oxnard, CA., June 22, 2010) All Coast Construction and Ventura Raceway are proud to announce the upcoming All Coast Challenge Race for VRA 360 Sprint Cars this coming Saturday night June 26 at Ventura Raceway. This is the second race in the 2010 three-race series. The race will feature a purse that will pay $2,500 to win and $250.00 to start.
2010 VRA Sprint Car Series point leader Troy Rutherford, 2009 Champion Kevin Kierce and all the top VRA drivers will be going all out to see who will take home the first place check. The first race in the 2010 challenge was run on March 20, with the win going to Josh Ford, who will be there Saturday to try to make it two in a row in this prestigious series. The third and final race in the 2010 series race will be run on October 23.
The race is open to all registered VRA drivers and VRA 360 Sprint Cars. Visiting drivers are required to be VRA members in order to compete. All cars must meet VRA Rules and Regulations. All cars must run the VRA 180 mufflers and a right rear VRA stamped Hoosier tire. Left rears must be Hoosier RC 1 compound. Front tires can be any Hoosier tire.
