Concord, NC-July 16, 2010- Steve Kinser, the current World of Outlaws points leader and 20-time series champion, will join host Dave Despain on Wind Tunnel on SPEED this Sunday, July 18 at 9 p.m. Eastern.
The Hall of Famer recently took over the lead in the series standings after a runner-up finish in the Brad Doty Classic, as he chases his record 21 st title and holds a four-point lead over Joey Saldana heading into the Kings Royal weekend at the famed Eldora Speedway in Ohio. Kinser is a six-time winner of the Kings Royal which leads all drivers, and has competed in each and every one of the previous 26 Kings Royal events, qualifying for the main event in the finale each time. The Kings Royal will be taped for broadcast on SPEED on Saturday, August 7.
Kinser, who is in his first season driving for Tony Stewart Racing as a teammate to four-time and defending series champion Donny Schatz, leads the World of Outlaws with 34 Top-10 finishes in 36 races. He has won four times thus far in 2010 to bring his amazing career total to 556 A-Feature triumphs.
