SENOIA, Ga. (Aug. 30, 2010) – Terry Gray and Matt Linder posted wins during the Senoia Summer Nationals event for the USCS presented by Goodyear sprint car racing event at New Senoia Raceway. The two-day event drew drivers from six states.

Goodyear provides the rear tires for the USCS program, as well as for sanctioning bodies of other touring series and weekly racing programs at tracks around the country. Goodyear’s line of dirt track tires has become the primary line of tires for winged sprint cars nationwide.

Gray’s victory on the first night at Senoia came after a wild finish. He passed Eric Riggins Jr. in a pack of cars to take the lead with seven laps to go, then had to hold on to collect his fourth victory of the season. Riggins, a rookie, finished second, followed by Michael Miller, Johnny Bridges and Justin Carver. Gray also won the Goodyear Speed Dash and Riggins was named the Goodyear Racing Tire Young Gun of the Race.

Matt Linder won the 30-lap Randy Helton Memorial on the second night of the event, but that hardly tells the story. Most of the cars in the starting field were involved in a 14-car wreck on the first lap. Most of the cars were repaired and the race was eventually restarted.

Linder led laps 13-30 on his way to winning. Riggins finished second, followed by Gray, Morgan Turpen and Ray Bugg.
