The Engine Pro NRA Sprint Invaders presented by JE Pistons will kick off their season at Millstream Speedway on Sunday, April 10th. The Sprint Invaders will make their first of eight visits to Limaland Motorsports Park on Friday, April 15th. The first of five dates at Eldora Speedway appears on Sunday, May 29th. A southern swing on the schedule will include Moler Raceway Park on Friday, July 8th and KC Raceway on Saturday, July 9th. The NRA returns to Eldora for the famed Kings Royal weekend on July 15th and 16th. The annual NRA versus 305 Sprint Car Challenge takes place August 12th at Limaland and August 13th at Fremont Speedway. Millstream Speedway will wrap up the weekend on August 14th. The final points event will be hosted by Limaland on August 26th. The NRA will also be participating in the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals on September 15th, 16th, and 17th at Ohsweken Speedway as well as the Sprint Car Sprintacular on October 1st at Eldora.
The 2011 point fund has been increased to a 15 position point payoff with the champion receiving $5000.00. Several new contingency sponsors have also partnered with the NRA for 2011. The Sprint Invaders have an action-packed season scheduled featuring events at several of Ohio’s premier racing venues. With an expected strong contingent of new drivers joining the series and the return of several seasoned veteran drivers, the championship battle will be one for the record books.
