3/25/11 – With the Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprint Car season opener just 3 short days away, 3 time IRA Champ Bill Balog & the rest of the B Squared Motorsports crew are putting the finishing pieces in place to get the season underway. After coming off a career year in 2010, that seen Bill & the team capture 8 IRA Feature wins, 23 consecutive IRA top 5 feature finishes, & their 3rd consecutive IRA Championship; they are chomping at the bit to get this season underway.
With the core team still in place & all the sponsors returning from last season, the team is hoping to carry the momentum from last year in to the season opener this Saturday, at the Dodge County Fairgrounds in Beaver Dam, WI. The tentative plan for the Bill & the team is run the entire IRA schedule & also hit some local MSA 360 shows as well as some World of Outlaw events & some of the local 410 shows at the Wilmot Raceway.
Over the course of the winter months, the team was able to secure some new sponsors that came on board to go along with all the returning ones from the 2010 season. The new sponsors that will be places on the side of the 17B machine are, FK Rod Ends, Maxim Chassis, Saldana Racing Products, Fibrestar Industries, and A & E Collision and Service.
