ASCS Midwest Set for JMS and Eagle this Weekend
The Speedway Motors ASCS Midwest Region takes to a pair of Nebraska tracks this weekend for two added-money events. The series takes to McCool Junction’s Junction Motor Speedway on Saturday night before finishing off the weekend at Eagle Raceway on Sunday night.

LASOSKI SIDELINED BY ENGINE PROBLEM AT HUSET’S
Danny Lasoski received the call last Tuesday and there weren’t many questions asked.
“They asked if I wanted to race the Big Game Treestands No. 1s at Huset’s,” he said. “I said yes and didn’t ask questions.”

WHEATLEY HAS A FRUSTRATING RETURN HOME
To be honest, it was a weekend that Austen Wheatley could only shake his head at.
After spending most of the summer in the Midwest and East racing against some of the best drivers in the country, Wheatley returned home with the World of Outlaws last weekend at Skagit Speedway in Alger, Wash., and the Cottage Grove Speedway in Cottage Grove, Ore.

9/11 TRIBUTE ON UNITED STATES ARMY NIGHT AT SELINSGROVE SPEEDWAY SEPT. 10
Selinsgrove Speedway will mark the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America with a special tribute as part of this Saturday’s four division racing program on United States Army Night. Track gates will open at 5 p.m., with racing slated to begin at 7 p.m.

USAC/CRA HEADS TO CHICO FOR THURSDAY NIGHT “GOLD CUP”
On Thursday night, September 8th, the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series will make their first appearance at Chico’s Silver Dollar Speedway. The special event during the famed “Gold Cup Race of Champions” is a co-sanctioned race with the USAC Western Classic Racing Series and will also feature the USAC Western and BCRA Midget Series.
