McQueen Racing Announces Third Chili Bowl Nationals Midget Driver

By Robert Haugh

McQueen Racing is pleased to announce 16-year-old Harli White of Oklahoma will be driving one of three potent McQueen Racing Spike/Esslinger mounts for the 2012 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals.

After a thorough search and review of qualifications and resumes, McQueen Racing decided Harli fits their program well and completes the McQueen racing 2012 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals roster well. With the addition of Harli, McQueen racing’s 2012 Chili Bowl team will be an all-female roster, consisting of Bakersfield, California’s Shannon McQueen, Guthrie, Oklahoma’s Michelle Decker and Harli.

“Harli fits into our program very well. We like that we are getting to help another female driver,” states team owner Shannon McQueen. “I am really excited as team owner to have Harli on board and for the opportunity to work with her,” says McQueen, adding female racers often do not get the chances men do in a male-dominated sport.

Harli made the A-Main in two different classes at the Tulsa Shootout, has multiple feature wins in ASCS2 Micro competition plus countless Top 5 and Top 10 runs.
