FREMONT, Ohio (Oct. 17, 2011) – Whatever Jason Meyers and his World of Outlaws sprint car series team has, everyone else on the circuit wants it.

Meyers won his fifth straight WoO event when he captured the weekend’s race at Fremont Speedway. He now holds a sizeable lead in the championship standings with time running out in the 2011 season.

Goodyear is the Official Tire Company of the WoO series and is the sponsor of sprint car racing’s most prestigious event, the Goodyear Knoxville Nationals. Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the rear wheel positions on the WoO racers.

Meyers led twice at Fremont. He passed Donny Schatz to lead lap six, then lost the lead back to Schatz for the next seven laps. But Meyers was back in front to lead the 14th circuit and went the remainder of the distance at the front of the field.

Kerry Madsen finished second, followed by Bryan Sebbetto, Schatz and Craig Dollansky.

Meyers finished the weekend with 8,500 points. Schatz is next with 8,233 and Steve Kinser is third with 8,230.
