TULSA, Okla. (January 10, 2012) – The Bowl Season isn’t quite done yet, as the 26th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals kicks off tonight at the QuikTrip Center’s Tulsa Expo Raceway with the first of four qualifying nights as well as the Fourth Annual Vacuworx International Race of Champions.
While 14 drivers square off in VIROC IV, including NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart, 67 drivers are currently slated to battle it out in the Warren CAT Qualifying event with tonight’s top three finishers locked into Saturday night’s 50-lap Chili Bowl championship finale.
Three drivers will be pulling double-duty tonight by competing in both the Warren CAT Qualifier as well as VIROC IV, including NASCAR Nationwide champion Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., California sensation Kyle Larson and Oklahoma ace Brady Bacon.
While those three mix it up with “Smoke”, a pair of Swindell’s and more in VIROC IV, the Warren CAT Qualifier portion also includes the likes of Michael Pickens, Jerry Coons, Jr., Darren Hagen, Thomas Meseraull, Casey Shuman and Jonathan Beason among others.

Tuesday’s hot laps get under way at 5:00 p.m. with racing action going green at 6:00 p.m. Tickets for Tuesday’s action are available at the door for $43. Pit passes only are available for the rest of the week.
