BRANDON, ND (July 4, 2012) – Mark Dobmeier put local knowledge to good use as he won the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series race at Huset’s Speedway.

Dobmeier, a four-time Huset’s sprint car champion, collected his second career WoO victory. Racing his car on the high line around the dirt track, Dobmeier lapped all but nine starters in the 24-car starting field.

As the WoO regulars wind their way through their long, demanding schedule, they repeatedly encounter talented local racers waiting to challenge the touring stars. Frequently, those local stars are drivers whose weekly programs are supplied with Goodyear Eagle Dirt Track Special tires, tires from the same line of tires the Akron, Ohio-based tiremaker supplies the Outlaws.

Dobmeier’s win was his first WoO win in six seasons. Cody Darrah finished second, followed by Ian Madsen, Sammy Swindell and Tim Kaeding.

Swindell leads the WoO championship standings with 4,642 points. Steve Kinser is second with 4,622 and Donny Schatz is third with 4,620.
