Only 11 points separate the top three drivers in the new TRAXXAS USAC Silver Crown standings going into the October 13 “Sumar Classic 100” series finale at the Terre Haute (Ind.) Action Track.

Bobby East of Brownsburg, Ind. is the new point leader, six points ahead of Jerry Coons Jr. and 11 ahead of Kody Swanson. They finished fourth, third and ninth respectively in Saturday’s “4-Crown Nationals” at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.

Bryan Clauson of Noblesville, Ind. won at Eldora, wheeling the RW Motorsports Mike Curb-Agajanian Rotondo Weirich/Curb Records Beast/Wallace Toyota to the win. He passed East on lap 11 and led the final 40 laps to win the 50-lap race over Robert Ballou, Coons, East and Bud Kaeding.

A total of 66 points are available at Terre Haute, which creates championship opportunity for the top five in the new points, which includes fourth ranking Kaeding and fifth ranking Tanner Swanson.
