Perris, CA — (November 3, 2012) — Mike Spencer capped captured his fifth-straight USAC/CRA Sprint Car championship with a monumental victory in the 17th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals at Perris Auto Speedway. Meanwhile, Bryan Clauson adversity to come home sixth, taking his first National Sprint Car championship.
Spencer started on the pole but Tracy Hines led 37 of the 40 laps. Spencer made a pass on the top side with three to go. Following this duo at the line were Jon Stanbrough, Damion Gardner and Dave Darland.
