Mercer, PA — (April 13, 2013) — Mercer Raceway Park was forced to cancel racing action scheduled for Saturday night (April 13) due to wet grounds and inclement weather and cold temperatures.
“The grounds are just saturated,” stated track manager Frank Benic. “The rain this week just flooded the grounds, we were hoping it was going to warm up today and the sun would help dry things out, but that just didn’t happen. Hopefully things will improve next Saturday.”
Remember that alerts regarding any cancellation of the racing activity can be sent to your smart phone or other electronic devices. Just go to the track website and click on the icon for RainedOut.com and follow the easy steps to sign up.
