Syracuse, NY – (April 22, 2013) – In a very unique sponsorship program, Shayne Tenace and his Go Nuclear Late Model Series is that latest to join the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) sponsorship family.  It will be called the Go Nuclear Go Fast Award, a nightly award where the fastest time recorded the A-Main will receive a cash bonus.

This is not the first time a racing sanction or track as backed ESS as Glenn Styres and his Ohsweken Speedway has been doing an A-Main winner’s bonus for many years now.  These two companies join Car Mate Custom Built Trailers, Fondations 4 Saisons, Westward Painting Company, North Eastern Pool and Spa, Fondations 55 and Jimmy D’s Speed and Machine as nightly cash sponsors to the already most lucrative cash payout for 360 sprint cars in the area.

“We are honored to have Shayne and his group come aboard with this sponsorship.” noted ESS President Chuck Miller.  “He has grown his sanctioning body to be well known and put on great events here in the US and Canada.  We ran a program together at Mohawk Int’l last year and had a ball. We hope we can work together down the road.”

For 2013, the Go Nuclear Late Models have scheduled 11 dates which include events at Humberstone, Can-Am, Mohawk and Utica-Rome where these tracks will also host ESS full point events this year.

Go Nuclear symbolizes our belief in commercial nuclear power as a viable and essential mix in North America’s energy portfolio. Nuclear power generation currently accounts for 20% of the electricity in the United States. Nuclear power is environmentally friendly (NO greenhouse emissions) AND, unlike most energy sources, has a relatively infinite fuel supply.
