Over the past month, record crowds have been common place at Placerville Speedway since the opening of the racing season. This Saturday night, that large crowd was more vocal than ever as they cheered one of their locals to victory at the El Dorado County Faigrounds. Placerville’s Andy Gregg muscled his way to his first win of the season in the 25 lap sprint car main event.

Springfield showdown goes to Cornell
Jonathan Cornell finished his 2012 season with a victory at the Springfield Raceway with the Speedway Motors Warrior and American Bank of Oklahoma Sooner Regions. Returning with the regional combination on Saturday, April 20, Cornell topped the regional showdown, driving the Kiowa Line Builders No. 28 to his first triumph of the 2013 season.
