WINGED SPRINTS & SUPERMODIFIEDS HIGHLIGHT WINCHESTER CARD

May 16, 2013 – Holly, MI – The second annual Xtreme Speed Challenge will bring the TRUFUEL Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series and the Engine Pro Must See Racing Supermodified Series presented by Oliver Racing Parts together for a great twin bill of racing Sunday afternoon at Winchester Speedway.

The event will be the only appearance of the MSRSMS at Winchester Speedway in 2013. The event will offer mustseewinchestersomething for every member of the family including record setting speeds, great racing action and for the kids an inflatable bounce house, a clown, and face painting. The Xtreme Speed Challenge will truly be family entertainment at its finest.

A stellar field of Must See Racing Xtreme Sprints is expected including: Jeff Bloom, Jason Cox, Troy DeCaire, Cody Gerhardt, Brian Gerster, Kody Swanson, Jimmy Kite, Mike Larrison, Jimmy McCune, Brian Olson, Aaron Pierce, Tom Tolbert, Joe Swanson, 2012 Series Champion Jo Jo Helberg and Jacob Wilson among others.

Last year’s Xtreme Speed Challenge saw Supermodifieds return to Winchester Speedway for the first time in nearly twenty-one years. A huge crowd greeted the inaugural event that also saw California’s Jo Jo Helberg set a new World’s record when he toured the famed half-mile with a lap of 12.669 seconds in his sprint car.

A strong field of Supermodifieds is also expected headlined by 2012 MSRSMS champion Kyle Edwards. Other drivers expected include Sondi Eden, Jimmy McCune, California’s Kyle Vanderpoole, Brian Gingrass, Dave McKnight, Jon Henes, Zach Gibson, Rich Reid, Brad Wyatt, Larry Lehnert, 2012 event winner Jim Paller, and others. Sprint and Super Race teams from 9 states and Canada have registered to compete on Sunday.

There will be an open practice session on Saturday afternoon from 2pm – 6pm. Grandstands open at 10am on Sunday with racing set to begin at 2pm.
